C.J. Brown has been involved in going to beef expos. The newest big project which she's got going on right at the moment is a piece celebrating the National Junior Angus Show in Des Moines this summer. While in Denver, the Junior committee auctioned off the original watercolor to raise funds for the show. A preliminary sketch of the forthcoming piece was there to be exhibited. The theme of the Junior Nationals is "Christmas in July". "Angus Blessings" was a collaboration of ideas between the committee and C.J. Werner Angus of Cordova, IL purchased the piece at the Angus Reception in Denver for $7500.00 and the piece will feature a major donor cow of Werner's in the forefront. Prints of "Angus Blessings" will be available at the Junior Nationals in Des Moines. C.J. has also started some other projects for some of the other breed Junior Nationals so check her website for upcoming pieces.

The designers of the Poke 'n Plug recognized the need for this product, when as farmers of their own 350-acre orchard in California with the annual need to put together micro-irrigation tubing, they determined they were tired of the painful process of installation. Through their company, T & K Inventions, they manufacture the Poke 'n Plug along with other Tim Garner inventions, primarily for the agricultural industry.

The Poke 'n Plug is a dual-purpose spaghetti line installation tool that cleanly pokes a hole into irrigation tubing with one end of the device and then plugs in the spaghetti line with the opposite end. They had 35 acres with micro-irrigation to install spaghetti line on, and the Poke n'Plug saved their fingers and a great deal of time over previous years.

Congratulations to Rancier Farms for winning February's Design of the Month.

Rancier Farms is a fourth generation farming operation established in  1905.  The farm consists of a mixed grain operation and a black based cow herd consisting of 60 black purebred and percentage Simmental cows.

They have been raising purebred Simmental cattle since 2001 and through an extensive embryo transplant program their numbers are steadily increasing.  This embryo transplant program has also enabled them to put together a herd of closely related females that consistently produce offspring that are widely accepted in both the purebred and commercial sectors of the beef industry.

EDJE employee Joe Jones and his wife Jennifer welcomed a new baby girl to the world on March 6th at 8:11 PM. 

Kate is 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 and 1/4" long.

The Palace is the newest hot spot in Tulsa to find your perfect prom or pagent dress. Located at 41st & Yale, you will find a very spacious store with it's very own runway. On that runway, you can strut your stuff, and even get your picture taken to show off to your friends and family! The staff will post your photo on their website, so you don't have to worry about fumbling around with your camera at the store, it's all taken care of for you!

I'll admit that it's been, ah hem, a few years since I have been to a prom, but this site actually got me excited for the high schoolers that get to come into the spacious store to find their prom dress. I remember my experience of looking for prom dresses, and recently with my younger sister-in-law, and none of the stores even compared with the layout of The Palace. Dresses aren't shoved onto tiny racks in a tiny store. You can actually see what you are looking at, so you don't miss "the one"!

The Palace carries designers such as Tony Bowls. Jovani, Sherri Hill, and many more. And if you don't see exactly what you want in the store, or know you want a certain dress from a certain designer, let The Palace order it for you!

I would have loved to have a store like The Palace around when I was in high school. If you are in the Tulsa area, be sure to stop in and check out the selection. I know prom season is coming soon!
